Bicycle
Collection
Rotary of Parsippany-Troy Hills is asking for
your used bicycles:
Many Americans have used bicycles gathering dust in a garage or basement. They bring almost nothing in terms of resale and fill our dwindling landfills. Millions of people in developing countries throughout the world have no means of transportation other than their feet. Pedals for Progress (P4P) addresses
this situation by gathering used bikes and shipping them to
willing partners worldwide. Get the satisfaction of providing
help and a future to other people!
Clean out your garage, bring your unwanted
bicycle(s) and get an I.R.S. approved
tax deduction slip.
Although it costs $28.00 per bike from pick-up
to delivery, a suggested $10.00 tax deductible
donation for each bike helps cover costs.
